Update

Unfortunately, Charlie will be leaving Chilworth as he has received an offer that he could not refuse. We wish Charlie the best of luck in the future. A collection is being arranged and can be found on the counter in the clubhouse.

However, we are pleased to report that Shaun will be taking over as the head greenkeeper. He has been working closely with Charlie over the past couple of weeks to learn the role and is now ready to step up from his deputy role.

The course continues to be very wet and difficult for the greenkeepers to cut. However, we have, this week, been able to get out onto the front 9 and are able to start opening more of the course.

Men’s Daily Mail Foursomes

After the first round success again Romsey, Chilworth, represented by Craig and Rob Churcher, played their second round match against South Winchester.

It was a tight match that went past 18 holes. Unfortunately, the match was won by South Winchester on the 19th hole.

We thank Craig and Rob for their participation.
