Competitions 

The monthly Thursday competition has been cancelled for the summer period as numbers drop due to holidays. The decision will be reviewed nearer the winter.

Club Championship

Club Championship takes place over the weekend of 1st – 2nd July, and on the 3rd July for the Ladies and the 4th July for the Ambassadors.  Please make sure you have signed up if you wish to play and do check to make sure you have played enough qualifying competitions.  If you have not, there is still time!

Golf Course Update

With a busy schedule this month the Greenkeepers want the course to look it’s best especially for the Club Championship.  To this end would all Members please make a special effort to replace divots and repair pitch marks and in particular rake any bunkers you happen to encounter!

Please make a special effort to always be on the tee ten minutes before your tee off time.  The hold ups on the Course are usually caused by groups being late off the tee.

Membership

Membership renewals are due on or before the 30th June 2023.  After this date, if you have not renewed casual members green fees will be applicable.

To thank Members for your support this year, we invite you to bring up to three non-member guests on one occasion for £10 per guest. This offer will be open from now until the end of July 2023.

County Seven’s

After our success in the first round against Wellow, we are playing the second round this Sunday against Bramshaw.  We wish our team good luck!

Congratulations also to Mark Dawe one of our Professionals.  Since his win on Lee-On-Solent he has followed this up with a second place in the Hampshire Stroke Play Championship and a sixth place in the Hartley Wintney  Pro-Am which has left Mark in First Place on the Order of Merit!  Let’s hope his good form continues when he plays the Open Qualifier on Monday.
